Why Chefs Love Nutella Stuffed Pancakes

Why Chefs Love Nutella Stuffed Pancakes

Chefs love Nutella-stuffed pancakes because they connect two famous treats—pancakes and Nutella—on one tasty plate. The creamy, chocolatey filler adds a sweet surprise in every bite, creating a breakfast feel extra special. They’re fun to produce and eat, and the Nutella inside saves the pancakes wet and rich. Whether for a weekend treat or an amazing breakfast, they help satisfy cravings and bring joy with their easy yet kind flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 12 teaspoons chocolate-hazelnut spread, such as Nutella ®, at space temperature
  • 1/4 cup vegetable fat, plus better for dusting the grill
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup coarse sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 big egg
  • Pinch good salt
  • Confectioners’ sugar for dusting
  • Pure maple syrup for helping

Instructions

First step, eggs with sugar

  • Crack two eggs into a neat, dry bowl to complete delicious Nutella-stuffed pancakes. Count sugar to the eggs and whisk for about 1 minute.
  • (Before completing pancakes, you should freeze Nutella in a round form so it’s ready to use after.)

Second step, components

  • After whisking the eggs with the sugar, add the dry components, baking powder, and all-purpose flour. Then, add the milk to the mix.

Third step, mix

  • Now, you want to simply mix the batter to ensure all the ingredients are well mixed. Once the milk is completely mixed, add the oil (or use butter) and mix it again.

Forth step, cook

  • After prepping the batter, heat a nonstick pan on low heat, add a slide of oil and apply it evenly using a piece towel. Then, pour the pancake batter into the pan, cover it with a top and let it cook for about 3 to 4 minutes.

The fifth stage, nutella

  • After three minutes, it should be halfway done. You can then carefully push the set nutella into the partially cooked pancake. After that, cover the Nutella with additional batter (don’t use a lot, just enough to protect the chocolate.) Cover the pan again with a cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on low heat.
  • *adjust the time as required; it may vary depending on the consistency of the pancake and the heat on your stove*

Sixth step, convert the pancake over

  • Once you notice bubbles developing on the surface of the pancake, it indicates that it is almost cooked on that side, so you can carefully flip the flapjack over using a spatula. After leafing the pancake, cook it for about 2 more minutes or until it is fully cooked.

Seventh step, eat

  • Now it is prepared to eat! Add some syrup on top, chocolate scraps, strawberries, or whatever you like with your flapjacks.

Pro tips:

  • Make sure you complete small pancakes, maintaining that once you add the Nutella discs and protect them with more batter, they’ll become much larger.
  • Keep the Nutella discs frozen until ready to use for every single pancake. This may appear extreme, but Nutella chills quickly and would become unthinkable to place onto the pancakes without making a mess.
  • Place the Nutella disc in the centre of the pancake to ensure that it will not apply outside.
  • Flip the pancakes when projections appear at the texture, and the batter is almost set.
  • Keep them warm before serving to make sure they’re oozing with chocolate. If required, place them in the microwave for about 30 minutes.
  • Shop at room temperature for the daytime then set it in the refrigerator and reheat it in the microwave (although the likelihood is that you won’t have any left after the first day!).

What to serve with Nutella-stuffed pancakes?

Nutella-stuffed pancakes are not your regular pancakes. The Nutella makes them extra sweet and loaded with chocolate tastes; you could eat them only as they are! Both maple syrup and toppings become optional, but if you like to make them extra tasty, add fresh berries of will (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.) or scored bananas.

What to drink with my pancakes?

  • Battered Coffee
  • Raspberry Banana Layered Smoothie
  • Banana & Peanut Butter Smoothie (my favourite!)
  • Vegan Spiced Beet Latte

Conclusion:

Nutella-stuffed pancakes have fast become a family choice in my home. I love how comfortable they are to make, and the wonder of gooey Nutella knowledge makes them extra special. Every time I prepare them, their taste and enjoyment shock me. These pancakes are ideal for a weekend breakfast or to treat myself to something precious. I can’t get sufficiently of the rich, chocolatey taste, and I’m sure you’ll handle the exact taste when you try them.
